Diego Borrero joined Alpax after 8 years with ING. He started his career at ING in 1995 as a credit analyst, and then as a relationship manager for Ecuadorian Financial Institutions. In 1999, Mr. Borrero joined ING’s Latin America M&A Group, contributing to the origination and execution of several transactions in the financial and food sectors.

Diego Borrero earned his degree in Economics at the Catholic University of Quito and has post-degree studies at Wharton School of Business and Stern School of Business. He is fluent in Spanish and English.
