Prior to joining Alpax, Fernando Garino spent three years in New York in ING’s Latin American M&A Group actively originating and executing mandates in the Andean Region with a special focus on Food & Beverages, Retail and Financial Institutions. He previously spent two years at ING’s Buenos Aires Branch in the Corporate and Investment Banking Group. Prior to that, he worked for Santander Investment (1987-1988) as a credit analyst.

Fernando Garino graduated as Economist with a minor in Business Administration and received his Bachelor's degree in Economics from the Torcuato Di Tella University of Argentina. He also completed postgraduate studies at New York University’s Stern School of Business and Pompeu Fabre University (Barcelona, Spain). Fernando Garino is fluent in Spanish and English.
